Dr. Jon Painter has been a member of the Work Activity Center Board of Directors since September 24, 2015. He has been an Optometrist for 30 years and his office is located in Moore, Oklahoma. His Doctorate is from NSUCO. He has served on the Moore Health Clinic Board as president for 2 years, Moore Parks Board as president for 1 year and as a board member on the MPS Board for 5 years.
Dr. Painter is very interested in helping young people accomplish their goals in life, especially the developmentally disabled adults at the Work Activity Center. He is married to Kim and they have four children. Jon ran for the Oklahoma House of Representatives and although he lost that race, he continues to stay informed on the issues and how he can be of service to the citizens of Moore, Oklahoma. Jon, Kim and their children attend the First Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma.
