Dreams Of Tomorrow

We are committed to completing contracts in a timely manner for our contractors, and if it involves packaging, we do an excellent job. Packaging requires evaluating the type of packaging necessary to keep your product clean and safe from damage. Packaging is not our primary business, but if the contract calls for it, we know how to do it right. All contracts require a "Time Study" completed by our staff as required by the Federal Department of Labor for businesses that are certified to pay a special minimum wage to their developmentally disabled employees.

If your company has items that need to be assembled, we have trained workers that will work with you at competitive prices to assemble your products. Whether it’s a large order or small, we would like the opportunity to make you a success and assemble your products quickly, correctly and safely. We would love to hear from you. Call us today!

If your institution, company or business is in need of publication collation services, we would like for you to consider us for your next mailing or publication. We have experienced workers that would like to make your next publication or mass mailing a success at competitive prices and on your schedule. Contact us today and talk with our representative!

We take pride in our cleaning and packaging products for your company. We take our time to make sure that your products are handled with tender loving care. Please contact us today if you have products that need special treatment when packaging and we will do our best to exceed your expectations. Call Us Today!

Our Team

The Work Activity Center in Moore, Oklahoma employs adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1976, employees of the Work Activity Center perform office-related work assignments provided by contracts with local businesses. They primarily are paid per piece, or based on productivity. We do not turn anyone away. "If you are willing to work, learn and be respectful of our staff, then you"re going to get an opportunity to work and earn a paycheck." The clients at the Center give “whistle while you work” a whole new meaning. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and do not receive state or federal funding. Our revenue sources are the result of various fundraising events, private donations, endowment, and grants.

The Work Activity Center does a myriad of different job tasks from counting and sorting items, packaging items, collating newsletters and mailings, labeling, sealing, CD/DVD duplicating, and product assembly. We also provide shredding services.

If you or your organization have a large or small task to accomplish, give us a call today and discuss your project with us. We would love the opportunity to serve you! A Time Study is required by the Wage & Hour Division of the Federal Labor Department for the purpose of determining a per piece and/or hourly wage on all contracts we receive. We are certified to pay a Special Minimum Wage to our developmental disabled employees.

What Our Customers Say!

What a wonderful company to do business with. Thank you for preparing my mass mailing packets and sending out on time. I will be doing business with you again!

K&K Multimedia Inc.

My daughter had tuberous sclerosis complex with developmental delay, autism, and a seizure disorder and also has scoliosis and ulcerative colitis, so things have never been really easy for her. But there must be something really special about your place and your people, both staff and clients! My daughter has an extremely positive attitude about joining you each day. She does not want to miss a day of work even when we had out of town family here for a local stay-cation! She seems to be more meticulous about her responsibilities since starting work, and she also seems happier to us than when she was a student. Thank you for caring so very much for people who face challenges.

Mrs. M. Reyes

We have used the Work Activity Center for multiple affixing and key hand-work projects. In all cases, their work has been accurate and completed in the time promised.

The Oklahoman Direct, Venette Perry

As the owner of Moore's primary source for news through the Moore Monthly Magazine, I have an obligation to insure the publication is delivered on time and at a high level of quality. On numerous occasions, we have contracted with the Work Activity Center to add inserts inside the publication and promotional stickers on the cover. In every instance, the Work Activity Center provided the requested services on time or sooner, and worked within the parameters of our schedule and logistical needs, sometimes even fulfilling last minute orders.

Brent Wheelbarger, owner, Trifecta Communications

The Work Activity Center has allowed me to grow my business exponentially through the assistance that their staff provides. The flexibility they have shown in meeting my needs is beyond compare. From the beginning, the cost has been economical and the turn around time has been excellent. I have expanded on what I give the Center to do because I know they will do it well and quickly. I am looking forward to many years of working together.

Nickanny's Treasures, CEO, Mathea Ford
